LamaBeware! When a llama is uneasy, it spits in the face of its attacker! These robust, unassuming small camels live in the South American Andes. These woolly Andes natives with their big eyes are closely related to camels, even though they do not have the typical humps. Like camels, llamas have lived in the company of man for many thousands of years. In Arnstadt’s zoological park the llamas live in a mixed group with Cameroon sheep. Currently we have a stallion and a mare in our care.
